Happy Easter everyone! I hope you all had a lovely extended
weekend with friends and family – I know I did! It felt like a Spring Christmas
with the amount of food, films and fun. This is also why I haven’t blogged for
a while, I’ve been very busy just relaxing and spending some quality time with
my loved ones. My mum cooked us the most amazing roast on Sunday with a giant
chicken and plenty of potatoes and veg – just how a roast should be. If that wasn’t
enough to keep us going for a few days, we insisted on proceeding with a
massive Indian takeaway today, I feel like I am about to burst!
We didn’t have to worry about dessert either because, just
the same as the rest of the world, we received enough chocolate to last us all
the way through to next Easter! Our kitchen in fact looks like a mini Thorntons store. It really is the best quality chocolate for such a reasonable price.
When my sister and I visited Thorntons to choose our Easter gifts, we couldn’t resist
when we saw the largest chocolate egg on promotion for the amazing value of
just £15! We brought it for our parents who were less than impressed with the
amount of chocolate – but we were quick to reassure them we would help! Unfortunately the 'y' fell off our 'Mummy & Daddy' egg but I think that was the least of their concerns!
As if we didn’t have enough Thorntons products in our
household, our parents couldn’t resist buying my sister and I each a few other
gifts, including the most adorable chocolate bunny, some Hotel Chocolat chicks
and of course some classic creme eggs!
It all looks so yummy, but to be honest, even looking at the
sheer amount of it everyday makes me feel slightly ill! Oh well, better get
cracking on this lot (no pun intended) and I hope you all enjoy your chocolate
stacks for the next few days (weeks, months) to come!
Love Always
xx
